Thanks for reaching out yesterday. Been busy finishing up a project so that I can focus on A to Z. Definitely look forward to learning more about you and hearing about your podcast.
Hey Jared! I'd love to hear your songs. When the course is done, and my podcast is tweaked, I would definitely like to be an outlet for creative, honest worship, to be shared with anybody who is willing to listen.
My website (http://www.nickalexander.com ) has a page connected to my iTunes songs, and another page to my YouTube page (really, one professional video). The vast majority of it are religious comedy parody songs.
One of the reasons why I'm taking the course is because I am looking to prove to people that there's actually a whole lot more to me than the comedy that I've done in the past. It only took me seven years to figure out a real plan of action, so to demonstrate the fullness of what I can bring to whatever church, community, school, conference that invites me.
My podcast (at least, at this early stage) will be both a venue for live worship song performances and a short reflection/message. The music I will do on the podcast would all be cleared, or be my own. If others get the vibe as to what I'm trying to accomplish, we can talk as to how to get them on.
