Alcatraz
I know there are folks in this crowd that are watching Alcatraz. :) What do you think of it so far? We've got a taste of some nice over-arching storyline already, in the middle of an otherwise abbreviated police procedural (abbreviated due to backstory segments).
Very Lost-like, even down to a signature sound when switching back and forth between the past and the present; this time the sound of the prison doors closing. I hear some folks saying they're getting bored with it, but as with all JJ Abrams efforts, you need to give it time to establish the characters and the mystery.
I'm enjoying it so far. Who else?

The chance seems slim because of how little that actually happens; one network picking up the cancelled show of another one. Would be nice, though.

Me too, but I'm not surprised that it was canceled. The story took a while to develop, which is fine by me, but today's audiences just want faster gratification. Hoping Garcia finds a new gig!
