Google voice crossing lines
I received a call from a collection agency, for the second time, on my google voice number. They were looking for someone else. The number they had on file was not mine. In working through the issues with the customer service rep, we discovered when the phone number they have on file is dialed, my phone rings. Is this a Google voice issue?

I haven't had this happen to me. I hope that it was just a one time mess up. Let us know if the other number continues to forward to you.

Listened to BTW and input from on this issue. I agree that forwarding could by how this is happening. What's odd is that I'm net getting any other calls for this person. I have received a few more calls from the agency, I guess they don't believe me.

Is it a different number each time? If not, I'd just block that number. ;)

It's not the same exact number each time. I would not feel good about blocking it anyway.
