Hi everybody,
as I am struggling with my past more than I can handle by myslef lately, I would really appreciate it if you could point me to bible verses about forgiveness and acceptance of the past?
Thanks!

Permalink Reply by Cliff Ravenscraft on May 21, 2011 at 7:18pm Anne, I don't have any Bible verses that I particularly feel led to share with you. However, I do want to tell you that I have some past issues with a close family member (Mentioned only briefly in episode 498 of PABL) that cause me to struggle with forgiveness and acceptance of the past.
I do want to tell you that I am trying to work through these things, right now, in my life as well. One of the things that has been on my "TO DO LIST" for more than five years is to read the book "Boundaries 'When to Say Yes, When to Say No - To Take Control of Your Life'" by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.
Description: The full-size edition of this inspiring Zondervan title has sold nearly 1 million copies. The Gold Medallion award-winning Christian book, by two psychologists who’ve written a number of self-help guides, offers a realistic, compassionate plan for setting healthy boundaries with family, friends, and co-workers.

I read your recent blog post and I want you to know that I am definitely lifting you and this situation up in prayer! As for the A to Z course, the GREAT news there is that the outlines that you receive at the beginning of each week are designed to walk you through, step by step, everything you need to know to launch your podcast(s) successfully.
Your access to those materials do not have an expiration date at all. You'll have complete and full access to everything, including every message that had been posted during the five weeks for as long as you want to go back and review them.
Just do what you need to get well.
Very sincerely!
Cliff
Permalink Reply by Jared Akers on January 10, 2012 at 3:05pm Great suggestion on that book! "Boundaries." I'm always looking for great resources to learn more about human behavior and how to grow as a human and help others. It looks good and just got my kindle edition. :-)

You are part of this community and are working in the present to better your future. So, you are great and awesome person! You have realized this at a very young age and can now change your life for the better.
The bible does say: Find a way to serve the many, for service to many leads to greatness....
So believe in and trust yourself.....
You are great!!!
